Hello Families!
Thank you all for the well wishes last week when I was feeling under the weather. It’s a new week and I’m excited to charge into week 11 with renewed energy. Here’s the latest: Parent Educator Conference 2: Language Arts focused Wednesday, November 2nd, 9:15-2:15 at the Hawthorne Memorial Center. Please refer to this week’s newsletter for more information and to sign up for Kid Care. It’s going to be a wonderful day of learning! I hope to see you all there. Exhibition: Fall 2016 We are a few weeks away (three to be exact!) from Exhibition and I’m so looking forward to an evening where students have the opportunity to showcase their at-home projects. Information was distributed last month in a meeting as well as via email and on the DP. Here are a few reminders:
Spirit Day: Spirit days will usually fall on Thursdays/Fridays, but since this one is in conjunction with Halloween, it’s happening at the beginning of the week. Homeschool Collab students in grades 4-7 are welcome to join us on campus, in their Halloween costumes, for a pizza lunch on Monday, 10/31 from 12-1pm. If your kiddo is going to attend, please shoot me an email. Please refer to this week’s Newsletter for pizza lunch payment options and prices. Students who attend GRA on Monday are welcome to wear their costume to the workshop and can stay through lunch. As always, please reach out with any questions.
